When you come to Crosby Community, you will find people, just like you, coming together to experience God. You’ll find people who are investigating christianity for the first time, new believers, and “seasoned” Christians – all worshiping together. Most importantly, you will find people who want ‘To know Jesus and make Him known while living, loving and serving like Him’.

Our small groups are a great place to meet others and go deeper with God. We have children’s ministry and childcare during our Sunday services.

CONNECTING WITH GOD

We have a full worship band, and we sing songs to God to express our love for Him. Just grab a cup of coffee and either sit back and listen or sing out for joy.

God is interested in the lives of regular people like you and me. He cares about our lives, our jobs, our relationships, our families. Sometimes during the worship part of the service, while we are singing songs to God, He will touch you in an unmistakable way. During the message, when the pastor is making some point or quoting a verse from the Bible, God will sometimes speak to our hearts profoundly. And at the end of each service, you will have an opportunity to speak with the pastor, pray at the alter or receive Christ as your personal savior.

That’s what Crosby Community Church is all about – connecting with God in worship and letting God connect with us to touch our hearts and change our lives – and connecting with others in our community.

What do you believe?

There is one and only one living and true God. God is the source of all blessings. We are made to worship Him.

What time should I arrive?

Worship starts at 9:00 am and 10:45 am. Come 10 minutes early. People will be milling around and someone will say “Hi” but we won’t bug you or be annoying if you aren’t interested in talking. However, if you do want to talk to someone, we would love to get to know you better.

How long is the service?

Our services last approximately one hour and 15 minutes.

What should I wear?

People wear jeans and T-shirts, casual clothes or dress clothes. It doesn’t matter to us. You won’t feel out of place in a pair of shorts on a hot summer day, or wearing your favorite sports team’s gear.

Where is the entrance?

The entrance is less than 25′ from the parking lot.

What is the style of music?

We do the newest worship songs from contemporary christian artists as well as some songs from our faith. You will hear most of the songs that we sing on christian radio. In our area those stations are 104.3 KLOVE, 90.1 AIR1 and STAR 93.3.

What will my children do while I'm in worship?

While mom and dad attend the Worship Service, the kids will be in Children’s Worship. A program designed just for them with caring teachers who want to show them Jesus’ love.

What version of the Bible do you use?

Our Pastor preaches from the New King James but you are welcome to use any version of the Bible that holds true to God’s Word.
