Womens Ministry

The Women’s Ministry meets throughout the year for both service and fun events. It is a place where women can come together and grow in their love and knowledge of the Lord and find a place to be of service to others in the church, their communities and their families.

One of our ministries is providing meals for families that are dealing with loss of a loved one or a family where the primary caretaker is ill or recovering.  We believe that before a family can heal spiritually and emotionally, they need to know that some of the basic needs for their family have been taken care of.

We have a very active outreach ministry in cooperation with Samaritan’s Purse with Operation Christmas Child. The ladies promote the collection of shoe boxes, work with the children to include letters and pictures in each box and deliver the boxes to a collection facility.  It is especially enjoyable to watch the videos showing the joy on the children’s faces when they receive the boxes and knowing that inside them holds the best gift of all – the message of Jesus.

The ladies periodically hold special events such as a mother/daughter luncheon or invite a special speaker during a ladies night out.  The women’s ministry reaches ladies of all ages.  For example, our new mothers are supported by baby showers and lots of motherly mentoring by our ladies with a great deal of experience.  We enjoy getting together and learning from each other.  We hope you will join us.
